Tenants can pay rent from their My Own Rentals portal using a bank account (ACH) or card. Stripe securely handles the payment details, and any applicable processing fee is shown as part of the payment total.
Can tenants set up AutoPay?+
Yes. Tenants can securely connect a U.S. bank account through Stripe and authorize recurring rent payments. From their portal, they can pause AutoPay temporarily or cancel it for future payments without landlord approval. Canceling AutoPay does not cancel rent owed, and a payment already processing may still complete or fail.
How does My Own Rentals protect my information?+
My Own Rentals uses modern security practices to protect rental records and documents. Stripe handles payment and bank information; My Own Rentals does not collect or store tenants' online-banking usernames or passwords.
